Generally, I have poor to no reception around the marina area in Kaw City. However, by the shelter picnic area (near the boat ramp) I sometimes get 2 to 3 bars. As long as I have 2 bars the service generally provides for clear phone conversations, sometimes an occasional echo back on my end. In Kaw City itself, I receive 2 to 4 bars in the the parking lots of the Purple Squirrel and Methodist Church. Only saving factor is text messaging. For the most part I can send and receive text msgs with 1 bar, sometimes 0 bars. However, there can be periods of several hours without service and if I'm in bed and don't want to move around the house to get a signal it can be annoying. Overall, if you live in Kaw City -- Sprint service sucks. But for the occasional visit it should be okay.
