Alltel probably has the best coverage in this rural area. I haven't found a dead spot yet.

Sprint service out here sucks, T-Mobile service out here sucks, so I switched to Alltel and bam, 5 bars of service, no dropped calls, no problems. I ran from OKC to Fort Smith last week and had 5 bars of service the entire trip, even though it did digital roam for parts of the trip, I had zero problems. Best of all, out here in rural Oklahoma, Alltel just launched EV-DO for the entire OKC metro area, with speeds up to 2.4mbps. Good for those of us that can't get cable modems or dsl out here.

I get absolutely no service from T-Mobile out here. By contrast, the phone I got from work is on Cingular and it gets 100% signal strength.
