Can NEVER send text messages and receipt is usually quite delayed. Calls are constantly dropped. Seldom can make or receive calls from within our work building. Have to stand outside to get any call to dial. Others with different services never seem to have any trouble. Why is that AT&T the only one with bad or non existant service?

Ever since I moved here 3 years ago, I've had poor service at home. At best, 2 bars of phone, and spotty 3G data. I'd thought that at least one of the 3 towers along HWY 152 were used / owned by AT&T. Apparently not. Whether at Mustang Rd. and 152, or at Wal Mart, I the signal is only slightly better and I have dropped calls all the time. Today, I'm lucky to have 2 bars of phone, and data service is almost non-existent. Numerous calls to AT&T over those years have been "you're in a valley" (2007), "the closest tower is Bethany with no current plans to expand in your area" (2009), and today "the S. Mustang Rd. tower is out of service and under repair". In the last year, email-based text messages reach me either immediately or within 12 hours regardless of where the I'm located (OKC, Mustang, etc.). After 3 SIM card changes and numerous updates and verifications of service of my phone and the network, I was told that my company's email server is causing the delay. This after telling them a Sprint customer who receives the same messages from the same source in the same manner doesn't see any delay. The logic of this is lost on AT&T technical support (the next level after customer support). I recently switched my phone to my company's responsibility and was placed on the Enterprise messaging plan. I saw no improvement in receiving those messages. If I ever get another personal cell phone, I'm going to physically verify service in my area before making a purchase. I had a great grandfathered-in Cingular plan, but the poor reception in my area makes it moot. Why pay a good price for bad service? At least I'm not paying for that bad service anymore. Also, I'm in agreement with everyone else regarding the reduction in quality of phone service after AT&T purchased Cingular.

Moved here a year ago. Reception has steadily deteriorated with ATT. Called them last week - they wouldn't talk to me because I didn't know my wifes social security number. I said 'ask me something else - phone numbers, billing address, 16th President of the United States' - they had NO other validation method and just hung up (or maybe the call was dropped). I had 3 dropped calls in less than 2 minutes from inside my house, which is WHY I called them. Not just me - my wife and daughter have the same problem. On average, I'd say ANY call I make now will be dropped within 3 minutes. In my opinion, ATT has totally lost touch with their customers, is now selling SNAKE OIL, and if I had any of their stock, I would sell it yesterday. I WILL be moving to Verizon as soon as I get out from under their Lousy 2-year contract. Too bad the Shirts at ATT didn't learn their lesson from watching Sprint go down the tubes a couple of years ago. I can't wait to help ATT meet the same fate. OBTW - they are SO clueless - when I moved into my house last year, there was an ATT UVerse connection post in the back yard. I asked if they could come get me connected - I was told 'we're sorry - service isn't available in your area.' COX was happily installed 2 days later.

After 15 year's AT&T told me I was not correct in the fact that when Cingular had my business my phone worked great and that sense they have taken over my phone won't work 85% of the time. They also told me I could by out of my contracts and take my $500.00 a month phone buiness somewhere else just because I got tired of taking my phone appart and changing my 3g to 2g and this tower is down or we have always lived in a low coverage aera. I say they need to fix it and maybe give me back some of my money for wasting time calling them and being switched from tech to nut for hours on end. HOW ABOUT THIS FCC

I have to forward my cell phone to my land line when I'm home. The phone will ring but if I pick it up, it loses the call. Very dissapointing. Wish I had spent some time in the front yard with my cell phone before I bought this house.

We have never gotten good reception at home, but since AT&T took over, our reception has gotten worse all over the metro area! Even when my phone has 5 bars, we have trouble with reception going in and out, and the number of dropped calls has increased exponentially. I never considered leaving Cingular. Now I don't even want a cell phone anymore. After 5 years of living without a landline, we've had to get one (and not with AT&T!).

Our cell reception at home has never been good. Since AT&T took over, we have had more trouble in spots that were well covered with Cingular. The increased trouble includes both poor reception (even if my phone says 5 bars!) and dropped calls. I NEVER considered leaving Cingular, but with AT&T, I don't even want a cell phone anymore.

Downtown Mustang and reception isn't all that great. The local Cingular store said they are upgrading the towers and one is currently down so I'll give em some time. I work on the road occasionally and I like the coverage area of AT&T (cingular). We've been able to use our aircard to get on the internet and rarely drop a signal as long as we're on a major highway.
