Sprint is great everywhere I go. I ride my bike far out of town, and I never lose coverge. The only place I don't have it sometimes is in the radiology dept. at Norman Regional, and most of the time I DO have it on roam. Sprint has always had great customer service as well. I've been with them for 3 years. Plus they offer NRH employees a 23% discount.

My service is great with Verizon. I see the comment with someone having trouble. Stay away from Samsungs. They pick up the worse service on Verizon, really. Stick with LG or Motorola

After being continually overcharged and dealing with rude and difficult CSRs, I dropped out of my AT&T contract early to switch to Verizon. Unfortunately, I've had nothing but problems since signing the contract, and I am currently searching for a new provider. For the past 4 months, I have had calls simply not go through to my phone, text messages went unreceived (on my end and by people I sent them to). Half a dozen calls to tech support and 2 new phones later, the problem remains unresolved. I don't know what the other people who said they love Verizon are talking about--the service is poor, the local sales reps are unhelpful, and the whole experience has been excruciatingly frustrating. Would strongly recommend against switching to Verizon.

Frequently only have one bar, lucky to get three. Calls are garbled and staticky and are dropped every couple of minutes. Cannot dial out at times. No point in even having a cell phone in this area.

Perfect reception all around Norman and the Metro area, and some reception pretty much anywhere in OK.

Verizon does not have any towers, they contract for use of towers, likely Alltel towers. Because of this your phone will work, but it will constantly be searching for an actual Verizon signal, and your battery life will be horrible. Like less than a day of light use on a full night's charge horrible. I moved to Norman and discovered this not long after getting here.

Cricket is ok in this area, however reception tends to be at a bare average. The closer to OKC the better it is.

I moved here back in August and brought my Verizon plan from Virginia with me. While Verizon technically doesn't offer coverage plans in this area, my phone works amazingly. Even when I'm down in the basement of the Physical Sciences Center, I get reception (including my beloved text messages). I'm the only one in every one of my classes to get service. I haven't found a place in OK (or anywhere in the US I've traveled) that I haven't gotten at least 3 bars.

Phone is basically useless when inside. At OU only get 5 bars when outside in plain view of the sky. Unless I have 5 bars the call is a waste of time. Very disappointed in the coverage.
