My service is great with Verizon. I see the comment with someone having trouble. Stay away from Samsungs. They pick up the worse service on Verizon, really. Stick with LG or Motorola

Perfect reception all around Norman and the Metro area, and some reception pretty much anywhere in OK.

I moved here back in August and brought my Verizon plan from Virginia with me. While Verizon technically doesn't offer coverage plans in this area, my phone works amazingly. Even when I'm down in the basement of the Physical Sciences Center, I get reception (including my beloved text messages). I'm the only one in every one of my classes to get service. I haven't found a place in OK (or anywhere in the US I've traveled) that I haven't gotten at least 3 bars.

My Alltel KX12 is super rugged and gets AWESOME service. Had great reception after a yr and 4 months with this phone. Service is great everywhere I go, even in basements Ill get at least 2 bars. Moving to Arizona shortly and I know still Ill get service with Alltel there as well.

Great service every that is promised and even when I get out to a location where everyone else has no service like the kiamichi mountains I normally have at least one bar and can make a fun call of that.

Great reception with T Mobile, I have never dropped a signal, I also have a Samsung D415 and also never lost a bar with that phone also. T Mobiles service in the Norman area is very good.

I use standard T-Mobile service and I get great reception at most places. Sometimes the service fails in big buildings like the library and Physical Science center, but its mostly if I'm underground. But I have no connection problems and no dropped calls.

Sprint is great everywhere I go. I ride my bike far out of town, and I never lose coverge. The only place I don't have it sometimes is in the radiology dept. at Norman Regional, and most of the time I DO have it on roam. Sprint has always had great customer service as well. I've been with them for 3 years. Plus they offer NRH employees a 23% discount.

I show great reception at all times. when I try to make a call it says error in connection. This has only started happening recently and only when in buildings. At my job I can no longer call out because it shows full bars and AT&T up top but it'll say "Error in connection" or no network access. I've used AT&T for 2 years now recently switching to GSM. It sucks. I've also used Nokia 8390, Motorola T720, Nokia 3595, Panasonic GU87, and probably a few more. All these phones besides the GU87 (which is a terrible phone) worked perfectly.
