This past month I was on Sprint. The service was horrible. I tryed US Cellular and where I go to (Out of state) I roamed. I was on AT&T and they have became worse and worse. I switched to Verizon about 3 weeks ago and I love it! I will never go to another network. I ported all my lines over. I love my storm, my wife loves her pearl flip (buy one get one free). My 2 sons got the enV Touch, and my girl got the enV3. We are very happy with Verizon and the service. We are getting all our friends and family to switch. The data on our phones are very fast. We love Slaker Radio too! Now, my work is about to switch from AT&T to Verizon. I was talking to my boss about it. We are all going to get the Motorola Barrage Push To Talk phone. Can't wait! I wouuld really give Verizon a try. They won't let you down!
Since May 2009 I have dropped calls constantly. I send text and people do not recieve and people send and I do not recieve. Make calls and get Network busy signal. I also have trouble hearing people. I have friends that say that leave a message and I never get it. Or I may get it hours later. Service hear is Terrible. I want to know which company to switch to. I am changing ASAP.
Reception used to be horrible even while standing outside just as the other commenters have said. Now that AT&T made some technical changes over the past couple of years I get good cell phone and 3g reception.
I use, or try to use my phone I should say, all over OK, but mainly OKC Metro area, and it seems AT&T just keep getting worse and worse. Regardless of where I am, my reception cycles from 5 bars to 1 bar while I'm standing still. It's like reception is hitting me in waves until it dries up and the call is dropped. It's getting ridiculous, but AT&T doesn't seem to care.
Sorry, I meant to say Bold, my wife had the iPhone and I loved it as well. She now has the BlackBerry Storm and loves it. I heard some people say that Verizon locks down GPS, but mine is working fine and so is hers.
Switched from my old provider (AT&T) to Verizon yesterday. My iPhone on AT&T was horrible. I love the iPhone, but AT&T's network is horrible! My phone would switch from EDGE to edge to 3g to 3G then to GPRS all the time! I love my Tour! Verizon seems to be a lot better then AT&T. So far my 3G has been very strong, and voice calls have been crisp and clear. The data is fast and I have not a a dropped call yet! Verizon has put a very good first impression on me!
Funny thing about ATT, bars don't matter as the iphone can drop a call any time it wants. ATT does not have enough towers, I guess. My friend with Alltel talks all over the state while my Iphone has failed and dropped calls everywhere I go in OK. I'm switching to Verizon / Alltel next time.
I have been a T-Mobile customer for many years. Reception has always been pretty good until the last couple of weeks. Now I am unable to get good reception at my house which is bad because this is the only phone I had. I've called T-Mobile and they said they switched towers, yada yada..and it shows coverage should be fine. And if that didn't work I needed to come in for a new phone - new phone - new contract - new cost - no thanks.
