For many years we had great Sprint service at our home. In last 2 years, service deteriorated so that calls are mostly impossible. If I receive calls at all, I have to notify the caller I will call them back on my landline. Sprint says there is nothing they can do except offer some sort of signal booster that we will have to pay monthly for after a trial. Our Katana model Sprint phone is no better. They tell us to get a newer phone, but that starts a new service agreement, and I'm not willing to commit to Sprint again. I still have 4 more months on my agreement and they will make me pay $200 if I leave now. How about that - terrible service but must pay $200 to move to another carrier. Phone also does not work inside medical buildings in this area, something well known to Sprint.

If I'm lucky, I get 3 bars. Otherwise I have to turn my phone off, back on, and do a jig to make the rain come or something..

I am lucky if I get a signal in my home and almost like clockwork I will drop the call if I am lucky enough to talk while at home. Sprint is the worst cell phone company every!

Sprint in Oklahoma in general has improved dramatically. The company needs to add in-building solution in The Ford Center, but other than that area it is great. I travel all over Oklahoma and it is perfectly fine and data speed is the fastest I've tried. Great job in improving Sprint! If you've tried them in the past and it sucked for you, then take another look, it's a new Sprint.

My job requires me to drive all over the state. Sprint's coverage is terrible it doesn't matter where I go, and it's also over priced. My fellow co-workers have Cingular and dont have too much of a problem getting reception.

My house is in a thirty year old upscale suburban neighborhood on flat terrain a half mile from an interstate highway. One bar or none in the house, none in the back yard, one or two bars in the front yard. I would like to switch to Verizon (since many of my calls are to family members who switched from Sprint after moving into a giant hole in the Sprint network in northern San Diego... again only a half mile from an interstate), but Verizon has no coverage or availability at all in my location in Oklahoma City. Sprint has no plans to fill the hole in San Diego (92130 zipe code), or to add towers in my area. We've gone back to using land lines for long distance. Oh. We checked US Cellular... no coverage at the San Diego location, and one of my neighbors actually threw his Cingular phone under a lawn mower in disgust last summer. Ah, the wonders of wireless...

Hate it! I get "No signal" or "Signal faded" on almost every single call, even outside. I would go back to T-Mobile, even though they're more expensive because the reception is sooo much better. Hate Sprint!

Noticed that nobody has posted about Sprint in Oklahoma. I've been on Sprint ever since SW Bell / SBC switched to Cingular and their customer service drove me away. Sprint reception is the best I've HEARD around NW OKC, and I have family and friends on AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. I may not always have 5 bars, but I have dropped maybe 2 calls in the last 3+ years and calls are ALWAYS crystal clear from my end (I have noticed ALOT of static and interference from Cingular customers). Oh, and that customer service problem with Cingular makes me also want to note that Sprint Customer Service has always been amazing for me.

Outside reception escellent. Reception inside at home excellent. Reception at work inside large call center spotty unless antenna extended. Overall reception on the northwest side of Oklahoma City seems to be more than adequate for my use.

I am just north of down town OKC and tried the sprint service. I could not get reception inside my house and the phone kept saying it was looking for service. My AT&T phone gets almost full reception inside my basement and basically anywhere I go. So I took my Sprint phone back.
