Sprint in Oklahoma in general has improved dramatically. The company needs to add in-building solution in The Ford Center, but other than that area it is great. I travel all over Oklahoma and it is perfectly fine and data speed is the fastest I've tried. Great job in improving Sprint! If you've tried them in the past and it sucked for you, then take another look, it's a new Sprint.

Tried lots of the cell phone companies. BYE TO ALL OF THEM! Only phone I get all my calls on or messages is my home phone and my answere machine. I can think of a better way to spend my money every month. Thank goodness my contract ends with Cingular in feb. Took them 8 months go give me my rebate check and they are rude when you call them. If my bill would be 8 months late I would be reported to the credit bureau for late payment etc. I have learned my lesson, NO MORE CELL PHONE EVER time for me to go back to the good old days of land lines. At least I get all of my calls then and it doesn't cost me if the wrong number calls me either!

After being very happy with AT&T since 1996, I find the over all service of Alltel to be sadly lacking. I travel to Tulsa and go on roam before i'm even there. Additionally, the mobil web is extremely spotty.

Not only does my model get poor cignular reception in my neighborhood, but so does everyone else with a Cingular account that comes to visit. Anything we can do, besides switch carriers? Love the coverage area, would love to use at home though!

Great service everywhere but our neighborhood. Called Cingular several times to no avail... they say they don't hear anyone else complaining... and someelse please complain formerly! :)

I have had three phones in two years. I have lost calls or at times not able to make calls. At work I often can not make a call. Others with other plans have no problem. Shopping for a new plan now that my contract is finally up with Cingular. Hope to get a PDA phone this time.

My job requires me to drive all over the state. Sprint's coverage is terrible it doesn't matter where I go, and it's also over priced. My fellow co-workers have Cingular and dont have too much of a problem getting reception.

I get 1 bar of signal when I'm in my home and when I'm at work.

Is there a place where you can find where Alltel towers are located? I love the way T-Mobile has the street level map on their page.

Have gone through 5 phones. Three Sony-Ericksons and two Nokias. Reception sucks and dropped calls occur more than good ones.

The phone is junk, both mine and my wife's phones are cracked in several places and my antenna is about to fall off. However, the Cingular service in Moore and everywhere in OKC that I have been is terrific-5 bars all the way! Changing equipment to the Sony / Ericsson Z520a.

My house is in a thirty year old upscale suburban neighborhood on flat terrain a half mile from an interstate highway. One bar or none in the house, none in the back yard, one or two bars in the front yard. I would like to switch to Verizon (since many of my calls are to family members who switched from Sprint after moving into a giant hole in the Sprint network in northern San Diego... again only a half mile from an interstate), but Verizon has no coverage or availability at all in my location in Oklahoma City. Sprint has no plans to fill the hole in San Diego (92130 zipe code), or to add towers in my area. We've gone back to using land lines for long distance. Oh. We checked US Cellular... no coverage at the San Diego location, and one of my neighbors actually threw his Cingular phone under a lawn mower in disgust last summer. Ah, the wonders of wireless...

I finally figured out that Verizon does not even own a tower in Oklahoma... no wonder nothing works I think I'm roaming on Sprint / Nextel.

As good as it gets! Switch to Alltel, I did!

We very rarely have reception in and around our neighborhood. We drop calls all the time! Our next-door neighbor has T Mobile and his reception is great.

Extended network everywhere, can make and recive calls and text masseages fine, no pix messaging available.
