I have hardly ever found a spot that has no reception with USCellular. My husband won't use any other network because he gets reception even when he's out on Deep Fork River out in the sticks in Okfuskee County.

Reception bars never set still. It's a rarity to get a clear, strong single. Dropped calls happen often. The type of phone does seem to make some difference. I love the Unity Plan I'm on with AT&T and most of my family and friends use them as well, and they don't seem to have the extreme problems I do; although they do have these problems. They just airn't as bad. I want a reliable phone service, and that is NOT at&t. US Cellular had great signal service all around Okmulgee and the surrounding counties and dropped calls almost never happened. They were just so limited on their choice of phones and always seemed to be lagging behind the times, that I decided to leave them and try at&t. Man, I regret doing that. I'd really miss the sim card though if I switched back to them. Who would be the best provider for rural Oklahoma? Maybe someday I'll have the answer.
