I was also told to upgrade my phone and service when my contract was up (2 years) I was told to go with GSM service because of all the new towers going up. I left my old, reliable analog nokia for a new GSM phone from Cingular, their recommendation, a Motorola T720 and I get on average from 0-3 bars at best! I know its not the phone, its the location I am in! It works great in Ft. Smith, Muskogee, Tulsa and in OKC. Bigger cities are no problem but for my home and work in Poteau- I'm left with nothing! I'm switching back to analog or a GAIT phone in order to talk again. Cingular offers no remorse, apologies or refunds for it either. I even mapped out my travel routes and where I live and work and they 'verbally' guaranteed the GSM would work great - big mistake!
