Verizon has no coverage in Oklahoma NW or SE of I-44. AT&T has 3G in Elk City-Clinton-Weatherford and in Woodward. They just shrunk their coverage area on the maps about half for the one Woodward tower that is operational in 3G. CellularOne has coverage everywhere in NW Oklahoma but AT&T cannot roam on them, although CellularOne can roam on AT&T. It's a one-sided roaming agreement. CellularOne will be going 3G in 2011. There is a huge hole in the AT&T coverage in Dewey and western Major counties because Pioneer has an exclusive right to the frequencies here and no GSM carrier other than CellularOne can operate here.

phone goes from 3 / 4 signal to no signal every 7-10 seconds 24 hours a day seven days a week til you leave the area, spent 1 1 / 2 hours trying to get a call out,finally drove approx.18 miles s.e. and after resetting phone 3-4 times I got a call out. will not send text either. very unhappy with coverage in western oklahoma, as soon as you go west of Watonga,Oklahoma your done

Pioneer is going to be it in western Oklahoma. They have plans to cover ALL this area. After being an AT&T / Cingular customer for 15 years hoping they would eventually improve service I will quit them when my contract runs out in Sept. and switch to Pioneer. CellularOne / Dobson with their miniscule coverage just doesn't cut it.
