I'll stick with US Cellular. I've been a customer for seven years. From the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in TN to the Peaks of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State I have been tracked down by family and friends. I appreciate the execellent service and to be honest the only way I can be sure I'm not going to be disturbed by a call is to turn the darn phone OFF. US Cellular customer service has been excellent over the years with only one young clerk in a store that needed to check her attitude. Over

I have been with US Cellular for years I've never had a service that is so dependable. I don't have to worry about my signal. It's always good.

Verizon came to Tulsa on Thanksgiving and reception is great. Much better than running on extended network on U.S. Cellular. No dropped calls any more and high speed broadband EV-DO is available everywhere I've tried since thankgiving 06

Cingular has been bad for many years in this area. ATT was better but not much. Dropped calls and missed calls. Sometimes I feel like I am in the Cingular commercials - but they are telling me I won't have this problem with Cingular>>>

Dropped calls have increased since merger. No reception on Hwy. 75 between I-44 and the Creek turnpike. No reception on Yale between 85th and 91st. For every call I make or take while I'm driving, about 1 / 2 of them end up dropping. I'm not kidding. I had fewer dropped calls ten years ago with AT&T than I have now. You would think that in ten years that competition alone would make service improve. Hasn't happened with Cingular. Every time I make a call I have to preface the conversation with: "I might lose you because I'm on my cell phone." Cingular blows.

Exceptional service downtown on the ground, in the elevator, or on the 40th floor. I live in the Battle Creek area and I also get perfect service at home. We dropped our land line in favor of our mobiles.

when AT&T "bought out" Cingular they sold out all the towers I know so many people who where with AT&T that where so happy switched and now there under contract and customer service either says I cant help you and your stuck or sorry we get calls about this all the time and they wont tell us whats wrong. Most every one I kno that had AT&T blame Cingular but the truth is AT&T owns like 70% stock in Cingular so for what ever reason except to make billions by tricking all there customers into switching I dunno but they have "the most dropped calls" "not the fewest"

Don't have many problems at all in South Tulsa or even driving around Tulsa. I work at St. Johns Hospital and some of my friends have much better reception than I do. I have to walk out to the open area of the parking garage to get bars, I don't get any bars in the hospital. My phone is older and I plan on upgrading. I go back and forth between upgrading and changing companies to either Sprint or Cingular. I also want reception in Mexico. So any suggestions, please post away!

I work for Sprint at the City Plex Towers and have access to the mapping tools that show coverage for any area. I know for a fact that Tulsa's Sprint coverage is horrible. In addition, Sprint is the only carrier to outsource its Customer Support to the Phillipines and India. I would not use Sprint if someone payed me. I have Cingular. To put the difference in signal reception in perspctive, I work in the 20 story tower, 14th floor, and have full signal in each of the 3 towers. The Sprint LG 325 on the other hand, does not pick up 1 bar. So, between the GSM phone and the CDMA phone, you have a difference of full signal strength and no signal strength. And to the people posting about AT&T using Cingular towers, AT&T used TDMA, not GSM. The towers are not the same. That's why Cingular required you to swap to Cingular. Thy're getting rid of TDMA. Also, my manger has Tmobile, and his T-Mobile signal indoors, 12-15 stories up, has about 3 bars normally. The other day, he lost his T-Mobile signal completely and picked up my Cingular signal! This goes to show that even between carriers using the same network type, there are differences, and it depends on that carrier's network whether or not you get good reception.

Cell service has always been bad, but in the last month has really gone down hill. Lots of dropped calls, one bar or no bars, always rolling over to roam and then roam is bad too. I have made a complaint to Sprint. With the other complaint from the same area I hope they do something. Neighbour reports similar problem with Sprint.

Moved here in July 2005 and the reception was very poor... now it has gotten a little better with the Nextel merger. We've got old phones and I think if we get new phones that will help. It seems like whichever phone company you go with, you always get screwed at some point. Thanks!

My phone drops calls on a near daily basis!. I am merely a half mile or two from NUMEROUS towers yet have HORRIBLE recption. Funny thing is calls routinely drop between 11-15 minutes even though I am showing complete reception strength! Recently, calls have been lasting up to 50 minutes with crashing. It is extremely frustrating and obnoxious!I have gotten two new phones, and three new chargers over the past 8 months and keep hearing the same tired excuses when I go to my TMobile location. I'm told that these are just "bad" phones and "bad" chargers. Translation, "I don't know, I don't care, and I'm not about to get off my ass" to give good customer service! I can't seem to correct these problems no matter what avenue I take or how I go about taking it! Presently, since getting yet another new phone, I can not check VM, dial or receive calls, connect to tzones or web, etc. I have full "bars" as I begin to dial number, after dialing for a few secs, I receive a "call failed" message and show NO "bars"! A friend of mine also indicated that this location was HORRIBLE for cell phones but, like myself, she could not explain WHY there is crappy service here. Anyone know the S Tulsa area? Sure would appreciate ANY tips you may have to ensure reception! THX
