i've had AT&T since march of 2008, and have had no problems up until january of 2009. at that point it was like a switch had been flipped. I went from excellent service to low to no service. the issue is not with the phone as friends of mine have had the same issues. it will take multiple tries to send a text, and if i'm lucky enough to to be able to make a call out, odds are very high that the call will be dropped. i've talked to AT&T and they told me I was in a low service area, but they could offer no explanation as to why service went from good one month to crappy the next. i've also been to the corporate store in weatherford, and they put a new sim card in my phone. this made no difference. I have to leave my house to make a phone call. i cannot in good conscience reccommend AT&T to anyone in this area. I am in the process of trying to get out of my contract and get with a carrier with service at my address.

I live in the Clinton, OK area but frequently travel to Weatherford, OKC, Thomas, Taloga, Cordell, and surrounding areas. I have T-Mobile and roam on different towers depending on location however I am not charged for this. I have no complaints with T-Mobile the reception is fantastic. In the year and a half I have had there service I have never once had a dropped call no matter where I am at. My internet, GSM works wherever I go. Of course its much faster closer to I-40. I would recommend T-Mobile before US Cellular, or any other service provider for anyone who lives in western Oklahoma.

Cingular service works well inside Weatherford. But once you are 1 mile North of town it SUCKS! Whats worse is the service has continuously deteriorated since 1998. Previously it worked marginally in the rural areas with occassional spots where it might or might not work. Now there are occassional spots where it might work on a good day. Obviously I am not pleased with Cingular. When I find someone in this area who has a carrier that is working reliably I plan to change.

I get good coverage with Sprint in western oklahoma. Work in the Thomas, ok area and get service fine here as well. Tried Cingular for about a week and moved back to Sprint. GSM in weatherford is ok now that Cingular does not roam off Dobson towers. I have not had many problems with Sprint, I've traveled alot and it only gets better it seems coverage wise.

Reception here is clear as a bell. Even when inside and only one or two bars showing, reception is fantastic. When in Weatherford, we are roaming on Sprint. US Cellular service does not kick back in until between Calument and El Reno on I-40. Travel north of Weatherford to Thomas and up towards Woodward and roaming on Pioneer Cellular. Again coverage is very good. I used to have AT&T, but their reception has really gone downhill in the past year. When traveling to Taloga, could not get any coverage via AT&T. Now, with USCC, coverage is better than adequate. I am really happy with both USCC and this LG model phone.
