Within a 1 block area of 12th on the South, Cedar on the East, 13th on the North and Birch on the West, AT&T coverage is very spotty. I can lay my phone down and set it on 'speaker', get 3 bars then seconds later coverage drops to 1 bar or the call gets dropped. I can have 3 bar reception, move 1 foot in any direction and the reception can then drop to 1 bar. In contrast, Verizon service in this same area is consistently 4 bars or better.

The largest high school in the state of Oregon with over 2,500 student in attendance. And you can't get any reception inside the building. But if you go with Verizon that seems to work better. AT&T will not work. I'm not sure why they have not looked into this. The South end of Forest Grove is where all the building of new homes are taking place. I think AT&T would want to be the first to have the better coverage in this area. AT&T coverage in town is so so. I'm near 17th Ave and Kingwood St. and I lose reception in my home. I have been told that the equipment out in our area is very old. And that plays a part in the foot print or coverage we have. AT&T have no plans to improve it at this time.

I get 3-5 bars here... . I used to have t-mobile, but was roaming all the time... . Always on cingular... . I even had qwest... . Practicly NO reception on the Sprint PCS system... . I have to give Cingular kudos for having reception where I live... . :)

I can visibly see MULTIPLE MULTIPLE cell towers from here and yet the reception is LOUSY. Maybe 1 bar, mostly no reception.

Recepion here seems great most of the time. Have noticed in the last 2 weeks that calls wont go through or voicemail inoperative even with full service.

1-2 bars (out of 5) - will cut out at times, with infrequent but not totally rare hangups.
