i've been with t mobile for three months. always got good signal at home UNTIL MARCH 22 when service became nonexistant. t mobile has been jacking me around since march 22 saying they are sending an engineer to fix a tower problem. i'm very close to changing carriers.

Not too bad around town, but terrible near the Country Club area.

My Nextel phone works measurably better than those of my wife and children who are on Cingular.

VERY POOR if any reception. Have to go outside and walk across the street to talk on the phone. A tin can and string might work better.

Reception alright with my wife's phone (same model) and poor with mine (already replaced phone). Signal too weak to use either phone at home. Other dead zones in LO. Overall reception seems to become worse. Poor coverage in LO acknowledged by Verizon Wireless.

Coverage in and around the school is excellent. Very few dropped calls, and excellent data coverage. The only weak spot is in the lower science wing which has 12in Concrete walls.

Frequent dropped-calls, dead-zones, and spotty over-all coverage. Even with the antenna extended, the phone has either 1 bar with the "Extended network" or no coverage at all.

A consistent dead Spot. Sprint has always had poor coverage. The phone itself seems to work fine, but the call quality of the Sprint network is scratchy, not to mention the sporadic dead spots.

Reception is great indoors and outdoors. Calls are rarely dropped except in basement levels of buildings.

I've had ATT TDMA for 9 years! It has worked well here in LO, on the mountain, in thne gorge, and at the coast. Last year, I tried their GSM plan and had NO reception at my home-that lasted one day and I returned all four phones. They refuse to upgrade me without a contract renewal even though I've been with them for almost 10 years. I'd really like free evenings and weekends (tho I effectively have free weekends with my weekend minutes). I am currently without contract so have a free move but have struggled with the alternatives. I get an 8% discount because of my employer. Verizon seems ok but charges $20 per extra line (and I have a total of 3 phones). All the other providers charge $10. Sprint is inexpensive but their native network is limited. T-Mobile has terrible coverage outside the Portland metro area.
