Lost 2-3 bar tdma signal after a windstorm 11 / 10 / 2006. Made two calls to Cingular by landline and waited 30-45 minutes each time while the call taker consulted with "someone". Each time I was told they're working on it and given a date for a call back, in addition to a pitch for their digital gsm service. As of 11 / 25 / 2006 still no signal. Phone works elsewhere to the north toward Oregon City.

I get great reception at my house, no other carrier has service within 5 mi of my town, cingulars gsm network has come a long way in 6 mos and now has sometimes better service than at&t's tdma network. unfortunatly they charge for both incoming and out ward text msg. and no unlimited text plans, no plans to make one any time soon either. I had Verizon and it hardley covered oregon it was always analog roaming with a nice little 7c a min charge on each call! I don't reccomend verizon, and cingular's slowly getting better than them. I just hope they get some plans that dont suck.
