AT&T

Our phone reception here is awful. Constant static, dropped calls, no service. Have to move around, go outside, etc. Half my conversations are "Can you hear me, can you hear me?" Highly frustrating. When I called AT&T I was told it was because of all the trees. Humph. My husband just got a new work phone with Verizon service so we are anxious to see if that is better. Wish I knew what Credo's reception is like here.

Have had issues with T-Mobile for a very long time. My contract is up and have been considering switching back to Verizon. I guess T-Mobile doesn't care how terrible their service is because they do very little to correct this problem. I wouldn't recommend going with them if you are thinking about signing a contract. They will fail to provide quality service.

I switched to T-Mobile prepaid after getting a Nexus 4 and in Portland have had very few problems. Once in a while my voice will be choppy downtown but data is usually good. I will say that compared to Verizon, my previous carrier, T-Mobile's coverage outside of well-populated areas is pretty bad and the EVDO data speeds are atrociously slow (compared to Verizon's 1X data speeds). But this is 30 dollars cheaper and unlimited everything so it is worth it for me.

For over a month data speeds have been extremely slow. I have done extensive testing and the download speeds have been as low as zero and as high as about 1 MBs over the last month. Most speed test return results from 50 to 200 kbs! Talked to 7 Verizon tech support staff and the final answer is that the cell is overloaded and there is nothing they can do but build a new tower! I just canceled my data account for my usb and am shopping for an alternative.

Service is always solid if not excellent. I've had many technical issues with my Motorola Bionic but they have done their best to reconcile. I asked for a different phone but to no avail. My only complaint is that the best phones are on big blue and sprint. Ughhh.

I have an Android incredible 2 and I have been stuck in a contract with Verizon for the past two years. I get great service every where but where I need it. I don't get service in my house at all I have to walk two blocks down the road before I can make a call, crossing my fingers all the while that the call won't be dropped. I can't get internet in my house either if I didn't have an active WiFi conection my phone would be completly useless. my contract is up in two months and I will be switching carrier's.

I have had Verizon since 2009 and consistenly good voice and data coverage, in all areas of Portland, and downtown area of Vancouver.

Data speeds here go from slow to useless. I also get dropped calls from time to time. I asked around the office and I was told Verizon gets a decent signal in the area. I will be trying them out at the end of the year.

Clearly Sprint does not care. Am firing them. You do the same. Nuff said.
