I've been waiting over a year for service to improve and they still say they plan to put 1 or two new towers. No sign of when. I give up. I need phone service that works in N.W. in my home and downtown in my business. So far cannot find a sure fit. I also want it to work if I travel. Love my iPhones but no service means this won't work for us.Was this review helpful to you?
Redmond, Oregon Still no LTE service and that is disappointing because AT&T just completed a new cell tower on top of Cline Butte (just West of Redmond, OR). I live just to the North of it and my iPhone5 continues to indicate service with the 4G icon, Further, Verizon is co-located on the same tower and iPhone5 users are getting Verizon LTE service. Strange that AT&T was a leader in getting the tower placed on Cline Butte but its competition is offering better service. Was this review helpful to you?
You people can't expect crap phones to get amazing service. Smart Phones will have better service because of the advanced SIM Card put in them. Sprint is pathetic. Anywhere you go you have maybe 3 / 5 bars. I've had Sprint, it's bad. T-Mobile just got bought by AT&T, that means improved coverage. Verizon is a close 2nd to AT&T, In buildings I always get coverage, my friends don't. Get AT&T if you don't and if you have it, keep it. It, by far, is the best in Central Oregon. Was this review helpful to you?
Calls drop on 3rd floor at hotel at Eagle Crest and inside large buildings like Walmart and sometimes Fred Meyer. But generally have good reception all over. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception in this area has gone from poor to no reception at times. Must go to second story of house to get enough reception to complete a call. Reception began to deteriorate in March 2007. At this point, the phones are worthless. Was this review helpful to you?
Voicemail is utterly useless. I can't count the number of calls that have been missed. For some odd reason, it won't put VM # 1 into your box until VM #2 occurs and "bumps" it into place. I'm self-emplyed and this has cost me thousands of $$$$. Been to see them many times... ... their customer no-service always starts with how dumb I am. Pathetic. Was this review helpful to you?
I almost always have full service. Sure, there are a few spots of interrupted coverage, but this is the same with all providers. Overall, the service is great. I haven't had a landline phone for 6 years and have used T-Mobile for 4+ with very few complaints. We used to live by Pilot Butte, on the northeast side and the service in our home there was pretty spotty but in Redmond I have experienced 0 dropped calls. Was this review helpful to you?
Oops - my first comment said bad reception / dropped calls at Hwy. 97 and Deschutes MARKET. I meant to say Deschutes JUNCTION. PS... the Samsung T619 is a disappointment - promoted as an MP3 player, but that's only if you buy music from TZones. We can't put our own MP3 files on this phone. Was this review helpful to you?
We've had about 50% dropped calls with T-Mobile for the past 18 months (says network failure). No service inside most stores, such as Walmart and Ross, and no service inside Redmond High (other kids with Unicel get coverage inside these places), no service a few miles NW of Madras or W of Sisters. We upgraded to new phones thinking it would help, but very little improvement. Still dropping calls on Hwy. 97 between Bend and Redmond, no service in large buildings. Very frustrating! When at the Oregon coast, very little service while other people are talking on their phones (when asked, its usually Verizon). We will be switching to Cingular or Verizon, even though we won't get a local number. Definately NOT MUCH to choose from in Central Oregon! Was this review helpful to you?
