AT&T 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V551	Coverage with AT&T / Cingular is spotty outside Medford and Grants Pass. Often do not receive calls at home - they roll to voicemail. Lots of dead spots, even along I5 between Gold Hill, Rogue River and Grants Pass. Would not recommend AT&T unless you stay within Medford or GP. Internet / data services rarely work here.

Sprint 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola Droid	We had ATT out here for a long time and practically had to climb a mountain to get any phone service. We thought all carriers had the same problem out here. Then a friend came out with Verizon and had great service. SO we switched to Verizon. A year and a half later we are very happy with the PHONE service, but there is no 3G. Figured that would be the case with all the carriers, not so. Sprint and US Cellular have excellent phone and 3G coverage in the Wimer area. Just got to wait for the contract to expire.

Verizon 0 Out of 5	Type in 97537 (Rogue River) on Verizon's coverage map today and they will tell you they do not offer service in this area. Is that a clue or what? At least they are now honest.
