I would say that Alltel works pretty well here. Everynow and then I get a dropped call, but other then that it's all good.

No complaints about the reception as long as I'm outside. Inside the apartment is a study in opposites: Between 0 and 2 bars and it's rare for a call to stay connected for longer than 5 minutes. Lots of Network Busy messages.

constantly drop calls in the house, drop most calls outside also. sitting behind a hill doesn't help the reception but we have towers at the top of skyline. have tried t mobile it appears to be better than at&t.

My wife and I have had the same phones over 2 years; Reception has been inconsistent with lots of dropped calles on my phone. (Cannot hold a conversation dfor longer than 1-2 min).

Very poor reception. I moved from Salem and can hardly wait for my contract to be up. Any service would be better.

Inside of house, I am lucky to get 1 bar. Never had a problem with Cingular until I moved to this location.

I have had Cingular Since Dec 26th. I was on TDMA with ATT and my bars inside my house were 1-2 even stadning by the window. For the year we had them (just a little over a year) I got dropped over 300 times. We went to Cingular and I have a great Signal everywhere in my town, almost ALWAYS 5 bars. I usually get 4 inside my house. My friends that have T-Mobile and Sprint get horiible coverage here. THere are only 2 towers in Keizer, and we get covered perfectly. And my Signal is excelent in ALL places in Oregon for the most part.

I switched from AT&T tdma, which was quite good, to Cingular GSM. I have no complaints. Service is very good. Call quality is usually better than with TDMA. My new phone had a problem but was replaced in about 5 minutes with no questions asked. To top this - the same number of minutes under my new plan is $5 a month cheaper than under AT&T.

Poor reception, cuts in and out all over in far west salem. Only tower is on the west salem water tower. By the time the signal reaches this fer there are two large hills deflectiong most of the service. to recieve service in my house, I have resorted to walking around in little circles to find service. I have taped little marks on the floor where good service exists. Please Cingular think of the customers! we need help out here everything sounds like its going through tin cands and string. your allover gsm service needs dire need of reform.
