I live right next to Cell Site. I get great reception with T-Mobile. Whether I'm at the mall or the Hospital or even in the county Jail I get atleast 2 or 3 bars or service reception.

The service is just awful at my house. I have no service in my room but if I move my phone a tiny bit then I get 3g, then I loose all service. Its more then just spotty. I dislike it.

Works great. Super glad I switched from Verizon to Cricket.Way better deal.

I dont get any bars and always get drop calls when Im in the Fox Hollow apts and surounding areas.

West Salem Sprint service is very frustrating... .new phone same lousy reception at home. It will probably be easier to move than renegotiate my cell contract... ..

I usually get about 3 / 4 bars to 4 / 4 bars on Sprint in and around my home. Overall Sprint service seems to be pretty good in the west Salem area seems to be a bad area near brush college however.

We both work from home and our cell phones are our business numbers. I get one or two bars on my T-Mobile Blackberry and usually have at least one dropped call per day. Our neighbors who have Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint say their experience is similar. Several hundred homes have been built in this area in the last 8 years and I guess nobody has told the cell phone companys about our exsistance. I actually got a better signal in the middle of Wyoming - 100 miles from any town, than I do here in the capital city of Oregon! The cell companies need to wake up to us!

Always have great service. Better then my friends service with AT&T.

No complaints about the reception as long as I'm outside. Inside the apartment is a study in opposites: Between 0 and 2 bars and it's rare for a call to stay connected for longer than 5 minutes. Lots of Network Busy messages.

Verizon is not too bad in the part of West Salem Oregon my home is located. My contract is up so I am looking at other options as I think everyone should.

constantly drop calls in the house, drop most calls outside also. sitting behind a hill doesn't help the reception but we have towers at the top of skyline. have tried t mobile it appears to be better than at&t.

My wife and I have had the same phones over 2 years; Reception has been inconsistent with lots of dropped calles on my phone. (Cannot hold a conversation dfor longer than 1-2 min).

I never get dropped calls and they have excellent customer service. But I don't get service in some friends' basements

Outside my house I get maybe 2 to 3 bars and sometimes dropped calls. Inside I get maybe 1 bar and if I'm lucky enough to be able to make a call it is usually dropped before I'm done. Three rooms in my house I've never been able to get reception in unless I'm already on a call and then if I go into those rooms I loose service within a minute. It's very frustrating esspcially when I have a cell phone in place of a home phone.

Very poor reception. I moved from Salem and can hardly wait for my contract to be up. Any service would be better.

I went with Verizon because I couldn't get good reception with AT&T at my home in South Salem. Also couldn't get any reception inside the building where I work in Corvallis and Verizon fixed that. Also couldn't get any reception in Waldport (Bayshore) at the coast with AT&T and Verizon works there as well. Sure, there are some dropouts on the way to the coast and elsewhere, but everywhere that counts works great for me with Verizon.

Great outside, lousy inside but that is because of the steel siding landlord uses for apartments.

Inside of house, I am lucky to get 1 bar. Never had a problem with Cingular until I moved to this location.

VERY poor reception in this area.

I would say that Alltel works pretty well here. Everynow and then I get a dropped call, but other then that it's all good.
