I live right next to Cell Site. I get great reception with T-Mobile. Whether I'm at the mall or the Hospital or even in the county Jail I get atleast 2 or 3 bars or service reception.

I went with Verizon because I couldn't get good reception with AT&T at my home in South Salem. Also couldn't get any reception inside the building where I work in Corvallis and Verizon fixed that. Also couldn't get any reception in Waldport (Bayshore) at the coast with AT&T and Verizon works there as well. Sure, there are some dropouts on the way to the coast and elsewhere, but everywhere that counts works great for me with Verizon.

Excellent coverage out here. Although, I do live on the hill on Madelyn Ave. and we are in direct line of sight to the tower at the intersection of Commercial and Kuebler. But, I would say T-Mobile is certainly the best option as far as signal, clarity, and cost.

This is my third time signing up with Nextel. I've left Nextel's service twice for GSM carriers and have been burned both times. First time on Nextel, was using a original i1000 Plus and had excellent reception. Phone was real sturdy too. Left Nextel for T-Mobile (VoiceStream at the time) and was getting about 2 to 3 good calls out of 10 on a Motorola V60 (1800 MHz GSM band). Went back to Nextel and got a i95cl and again had great reception, with a still sturdy and more feature rich phone. Left Nextel again for AT&T wireless using a Motorola MPx200 (1800 MHz GSM band). Only 2 to 5 calls out of 10 were at all understandable. I am now happily back with Nextel using an i860. I do miss some of the SmartPhone features of the MPx200, but they didn't do me any good since the phone portion of the device was useless. An easy sacrifice for a phone that fucntions as a phone.

I switched from AT&T tdma, which was quite good, to Cingular GSM. I have no complaints. Service is very good. Call quality is usually better than with TDMA. My new phone had a problem but was replaced in about 5 minutes with no questions asked. To top this - the same number of minutes under my new plan is $5 a month cheaper than under AT&T.

I have been using AT&T for almost 10 years and have had nothing but excellent coverage and customer services. Throughout Washington State and Oregon I have never had any problems.

I have been VERY happy with T-Mobile for over a year now. Their GSM coverage is strong throughout the Willamette Valley, I also get coverage on the coast, and in central Oregon. Their phones are high quality and service is quick and efficient. I am so glad I changed from Verizon, who is so big they don't take the time to care when people are having problems!

I usually get about 3 / 4 bars to 4 / 4 bars on Sprint in and around my home. Overall Sprint service seems to be pretty good in the west Salem area seems to be a bad area near brush college however.
