	Reception is very poor at our house. Once in a rare while I get one bar. Mostly, though, zero reception. ATT has promised a new cell tower for 3+ years. Then Peter DeFazio's office got involved and nothing has happened. Very frustrating!

	Back east this phone would work anywhere but here it goes to zero outside of town except in I-5 corridor. Will be switching soon unless they get their act together.

	about 3 years ago reception was spotty. Now within the last 2 years mostly 4-5 bars. However about 1 / 2 mile east at the middle school 0-2 bars.

	Reception floats between 3 and 4 bars inside my home. We switched from AT&T to Verizon 2 years ago and have been very pleased. Cellular service has been very good around Eugene / Springfield. I occasionally use my phone around Seattle and have had very good reception and no problems. Last summer I was in the San Francisco Bay area outside Vallejo when I received a call from Eugene OR. Very good reception. I'm going to re-sign for another 2 years with Verizon next time my contract expires.

	my Cingular phone only works in seemly random areas. sometimes at the house, never at valley river mall, and hit and miss every where else. Swithcing to verizon. Have a business cell that works well everywhere.

	# of bars doesn't seem to matter. Drops calls all the time. Very poor service level up / down I-5 corridor, even downtown.

	With my Motorola V551 and Cingular GSM plan, I have thus far had 4-5 (5 is full on my phone) reception in the Eugene / Springfield area.

	Verizon is the way to go in lane county. Reception is clear and constant, with no dropped calls or cut-outs. 2 thumbs up!
