US Cellular
 5 Out of 5
Phone Model: Samsung Freeform |

We have been with US Cellular for about 6 years, I have found each phone varies to quality of calls. We had been happiest with LG Phones for signal, but tried the Samsung this time and was not disappointed. This phone was the closest thing to a blackberry without having to pay for Data Service. We recently took a long trip up into washington and had service almost everywhere from the Coast to Morton to Seattle to Aberdeen. We had about 1 mile of road west of Morton that was in a deep valley that the phone went to no service. Also in Ocean Shores,Wa way out near the Jetti had a weaker signal. Now I need to test it in the Walmart Stores, they usually have dead / weak spots especially near Automotive in Eagle Point.

NOBODY gets reception out here. Just a bit further southwest from E. Evans Ck. Rd. (starting above Meadows Rd.) on Antioch Rd. near Traunesian Ave. heading toward Jones Rd. and eventually Hwy. 234, you can get 1 / 2 to 1 bar of service. Both AT&T as well as Sprint do not work at all on upper East Evans Ck. Rd.

Ok, I posted a while back while having the Audiovox phone (which had dead spots) and recently upgraded to the LG AX355 and now I am talking in places the Audiovox phone was searching system. So I would now say US Cellular with an LG phone is Awesome, Especially with Unlimited Incoming Calls and Kids that use over 7000 minutes a month (mostly in the Nights and Weekends or Free Incoming)

My Sprint service works great most anywhere. I have made trips to Las Vegas, NV and Abeerdeen washington since I have my phone and get service almost anywhere there are a few spots that just go dead though. One is going north on I-5 right before you get to the north medford onramp I just lose signal for a second then I get 5 bars. it's like something must intere with the signal in that 1 area.

Phone Model: Audiovox 8900 & 8910 |

I think my problem is the Phones. We started out with 2 Audiovox 8900 Camera Phones, They work Great except at Home. No Signal in our Bedroom and Living Room. We added a 3rd phone for the Kids with is the Cheaper Nokia and it seems to do alot better for signal. I sent my phone in on the insurance and got an Audiovox 8910 which was no better. NOTE: My Brother has Sprint and has just as many problems with his Motorola Phone, but has more Dropped Calls than I do with US Cellular I have Great Service except inside Wal-Mart and inside the Rogue Valley Manor. I could not recommend the Audiovox Phones. I did get a loaner phone which was an LG, it had a much better ringer volume and better signal.
