The reception is pretty often good, but there are some dead zones and in alot of houses or building just kill the reception to nothing or sometimes one bar.

Have had voicestream / t-mobile in the Portland and Seattle areas now for four years and rarely have had reception problems. :-)
Also do a signifigant amount of travel around the US for work and have had no issues (CHI, Bay Area, DFW, MSP, Hartford / Prov., Tampa / Orlando / Jacksonville, etc..)

tmobile sucks. either get no reception which is 99% of the time or get one bar the other 1% of the time. I have to spend an hour trying to get a signal. I can only get a solid signal if I go all the way to town, which is a mile away. sucks

Se Portland / suburbs / Stafford Rd.And 212 To Boring, Wilsonville, OR 97070 |

i live in wilsonville. I get constant dropped calls between here and 205, especially on stafford rd to 205 north. the worst is hwy 212 once you get into Boring. the phone wont work unless you are outside in the middle of the yard or in the driveway. very annoying since it always rains and i'm out there about twice a week. my in-laws (who live in Boring) have Sprint and it seems to work just fine.i have had one phone and my wife two.
