I'm still waiting for 3G service in Bedford County. Only get E service. ATT doesn't care about Bedford County! When my contract is up, I will look Verizon Wireless. What is it going to take ATT???

I live between Bedford (15522) and Everett (15537). I travel Rt. 30 a great deal and it seems that in the past 3-4 months that cell phone coverage has worsened overall. I used to have coverage on the Rt. 30 bypass near Fort Bedford Park, but now I drop calls everytime I go through that area. I am dropping calls in Bedford as well. Overall coverage on Rt. 30 is spotty, but probably not as bad as it could be considering the mountains. It just sucks that the coverage that had been good, has deteriorated significantly. I have used three different phones, so I highly doubt it is a phone issue, however, the Samsung was by far the worst! I'd love to know what is going on! I have skimmed through every review page for PA while trying to get an idea of what carrier may be best to go with when my contract is up in December. The state of cell phone coverage seems pitiful! I had been thinking I may go with Verizon, but based on the majority of reviews, I had probably just stick with AT&T (Cingular) who I think pretty much sucks anymore. We'd probably all be better off if there was a monopoly of one cell phone company that screwed you to the wall with their prices, but actually had reliable coverage and service!

Sprint coverage is excellent in Bedford and along major highways such as US 30 and I-99. 4-5 bars in most locations, including several miles out of town at my home. Plan includes free roaming so a good signal is always available in when off the Sprint Network.

Great around Bedford, Breezewood, or the PA Turnpike. Its the best choice for Bedford County, better than CellularONE. Coverage around other areas north of Bedford are marginal, although it does work in Blue Knob State Park in analog mode perfectly.
