Drops calls are the norm with AT&T and the iPhone in chambersburg. What 's weird is I have a very plecent experience with other phones using AT&T so avoid if your an iPhone user

Central PA in general doesn't have the best coverage with Sprint. There are many dead spots which cause either no reception or poor reception at best. Some areas are decent but none are very strong. There are days when the Internet and Messaging are extremely slow and phone calls have echos as well. Other times, voice mail shows up hours after being sent. I have been with Sprint for 15 years and I have lived in various areas of the country, which mostly had very good coverage. The reason that I have stayed with Sprint during the past few years, is because I am in "Customer Retention" and I am a Sprint Premier customer. For this, I have been given a "service credit" on my monthly statement. However, for my anniversary this year, I was given a $21.00 increase in my bill. Thanks Sprint! I was told that Sprint can no longer afford to give me this credit because they have the best rate plans on the market. I find this to be a slap in my face after all the years of service, especially with all the problems that I have experienced during the past few years. I have also found that there are better programs available on another carrier which I will probably have to switch to unless Sprint gives me back my reduced rate. This really shouldn't be a problem for Sprint since they give millions of customers special discounts if they work for certain companies or belong to special groups. But, I guess that after 15 years, I am no longer special.

No Sprint reception in this area. Must go away from home to get reception. No Nextel signal reception either.

Almost 0 reception in our area. Sprint customer service said the sales rep at One Stop cell phone store in Waynesboro should have checked on servicability in our area before she signed us up. Avoid Sprint if you live near here

I have been with Verizon Wireless for over 5 years and I love it. Yeah on occasion in those 5 years + I have had some drop calls but service and everything is great. This is the only service provider that I recommend. I work for a Cingular store and their service isn't as good as Verizon. I have actually had customer tell me that they use to have Cingular and they've told me how bad Cingular was, plus they seem like they have alot of taxes and fees added on their plans.

I receive great signal at my house. Make sure you all update your phones software. *228 then number 2. Verizon switched to digital signal in Feb.

We use Verizon phones for work, doing mobile service, and the reception is horrible almost everywhere except for along major roads. Even then, it is often not that great. Perhaps it is the models of phones. I also have ATT / cingular, and Nextel service. Nextel is pretty lame also, ATT, is by far the best. It is still old system. When I have to switch to cingular, and new type service, no clue how well that will work. Almost everyone that works at the company carries a second personal phone due the fact Verizon reception is so poor. A lot of people have just turned theres in even though they are free from the company. That should be an indication of how poor the reception is.
