I guess I just live in an area closer to a Cingular tower. The phone was okay, but reception was iffy, and calls were dropped frequently. Beside that, Verizon's touted customer service was almost non existent. Glad I figured this out in my 15 day grace period.

I can hear clearly and some people can't even tell I'm on a cell. I was fromerly on Cingular's TDMA network, and I could barely use the phone, the reception was so bad. I'm very pleased now with this GSM phone. Reception varies around the area, but from my home, it's fine.

No problems found with Nextel at this location. They seem to have solid coverage even where our Cingular and Sprint phones lose the signal.

Signal inside the house isn't good at all, but outside calls are able to be made with no problem. Everywhere else in the area has a decent number of signal bars. Comparable to my new T637 with Cingular.
