No coverage at all along Route 6 from Mansfield all the way to Warren, including the towns of Coudersport, Sweden Valley, Gaines, Ansonia, Rexford, Wellesboro, Galeton, and West Pike. Sprint provides service for Virgin Mobile customers. I urge Sprint to provide coverage in this area!
Fairly decent reception within Coudersport proper on Verizon CDMA network. Reception is variable traveling along Rte. 6 - fades in and out as you drive. Marginal reception (fades in and out) in observing field at Cherry Springs State Park. You have to walk around and find the right place to stand. But if you move 10 or 20 feet from that spot, the call drops. But no reception along much of Rte. 44 and 44 / 144. I learned this the hard way after breaking down along the highway.
Limited reception in Coudersport. Once you get about 1.5 miles out of town toward Denton Hill / Galeton, reception fades until you get into Galeton. AT&T, step up to the plate.
Verizon is the best carrier to have in this area as of right now. Everyone that comes to visit with other carriers do not have good reception at all, most have none. Nextel is the worst of all of them..
