Had ATT - no signal, even when I had a signal (in the middle of the street) would not call 911 - stated low reception, emergency only during an emergency. Verizon was better however had a dropped call about 2-3 times a week. Had Sprint for over 1.5 years now and not one dropped call... Except for when my battery died.

Have experienced several phone carriers, have yet to lose a call or lose service with verizon.

Nextel is by far the worst. The reception can go from full service to no service in an instant. Calls drop frequently. The Direct Connect was a nice feature at first, but it doesn't help when you do not have service.
