I agree with "Rte. 29 / Siesholtzville Road, Hereford, PA 18056" comment above. In this day and age of technology, there is absolutely "NO" reason any of these cell phone providers be giving us the horrible service they all seem to do. Anyway with my phone, I get 2-3 bars out of a possible 4 bars. There are four known "Dead Zones" (YES! Verizon DOES have Dead Zones!) within my 40 mile one way trip to work. I guess that would average it at about one Dead Zone every ten miles. Verizon, better reconsider your advertising, because you are NO better than the other providers. Again back to the comment that with technology, there should be no bad service. I feel and see most people prefer the cell phone for use when stranded out on the road away from cities, businesses or homes. Like us, we like to go camping and hiking. While hiking there is always a risk of injuring yourself or getting lost. We try using our cell phones and guess what... there is no service available! The last time I heard anyone complain about that with a landline phone was what 1857 when Antonio Meucci failed with his telephone. Then even Alexander Graham Bell was fully successful to even get his call for help to go through in 1876. But today, the major phone companies who are making million dollars more than Mr. Bell did back in 1876 can't even get a cell phone to keep a connection. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile your excuses?

Verizon Wireless, can't hear anybody under normal conditions at this location. Appears the hills create a blind spot. The signal is dropped around this intersection and then is good for the balance of the area between The lutheran home at Topton and Macungie except for this brief blind spot.

i am rating this from my girlfriend's house. they live in a hilly, windy, mountain area. the verizon reception up there is almost perfect. we are perfectly centered between Allentown, and Reading Pa. i work for a VZW indirect dealer and get to use all the phones i want. and, so far everything i have used in our area has great reception. i am just surprised how well it works at her house. its one of those "middle of nowhere" areas that everyone has a quarter mile long driveway in the middle of the woods. but verizon is the only carrier up there that works. once again, verizon comes out ahead.
