It's hit or miss with Nextel in Newtown. In some areas it's terrible, mostly in the borough, and certain parts in Richboro and Churchville are complete blackouts. I would rate them as a 3 or worse.

Nextel sucks! You go from 5 bars to "no service" all the time and then back to 5 bars. Down by the Acme, I usually loose audio but the signal is 5 bars. Bextel refuses to believe they have a bad card on their box. Switching to Verizon Tuesday.

Full Cingular service in the Newtown TWP area, by Newtown Grant especially, since tower is located by Municipal Drive.

In the Boro, Sprint does not get good reception. Everywhere else is pretty strong, but you have to get out to the bypass before you have a strong signal. There's a signal in the Boro, but sometimes it's no bars and sometimes it's no reception.

T-Mobile's coverage in Newtown is very good especially along State Street and in many of the old stone buildings. Coverage gets a little weaker going into some areas of Newtown Township away from the Boro, but still remains useable.
