I had AT&T service but reception was so poor in my Home that I was able to switch my service to Cingular less than a year ago, since they were mering at that time. Great reception in almost all locations!

I have never lost my Signal anywhere in the area.

Have had Nextel since I moved into this area two years ago and when compared to other carriers I've seen it has some of the best reception I've witnessed in the area overall. I've tested the rx / tx from areas around 476 corridors(best buy near chemical road) all the way up through norristown and jeffersonville to the Kmart near eagleville and I've kept full signal the entire time. Never had any sort of dropped call issue or garbled Direct Connect. Both voice and dispatch have been perfect. They continue to put up Nextel towers all over the area so it's only getting better too, since Nextel is doubling their capacity by the end of 05'.

I'll be in 1 spot and have full reception. Then 2 minutes later, without moving, I'll lose all reception. I usually lose whoever I'm talking to at least once during the conversation. This just started for me since I moved to this area.

Verizon has a very poor to no signal in and around Eagleville Apts all the way up to Kmart and Genuardi's. 1 / 4 mile away from here you will get 4 bars but as soon as you turn onto Eaglestream dr. at KMart and Genuardi's WAM! there goes your signal to ZERO bars. If your lucky you will get 1 bar but within 5 minutes of your call you will get a dropped call. I'm new to this area but the locals say Nextel and Cingular are the only phones that work in and around these apts. Whats up Verizon?? I have never had a signal issue with Verizon before I moved here.

I have the hybrid phone which would drop the signal everytime I got close to Township Line Rd. I switched to a Nextel i560 and it was even worse. I work in Lansdale and live in Audubon. On my drive home, I will loose signal at least four times. My cell phone bill is outrageous and I hate my carrier. I have been a Sprint customer since 1990 and I can never switch because they always extend my contract if I make any changes at all. Also, is there a better carrier? If so, WHO?!?!?!?!?

No service by any carrier. Verizon is usually able to turn out 1 bar.

turning left off of ridge pike / w. main st onto eaglestream dr, you start losing reception. I can not use my cell phone from there to my apartment at eaglestream apts. T-Mobile states a tower to be installed in collegeville 6 months ago has been delayed. In the meantime... .

Reception is great on Sandy Hill, until I turn into apt complex (Kelly Dr) or continue down the hill into Norristown. Then I get nothing, no signal, no phone or email on my blackberry. This just started happening 2 weeks ago.
