Google Nexus At& t internet is good but I drop a lot of calls. I would compare the service to Sprint with voice calls but internet on At& t is definitely stronger. I'm sticking with AT& t because I can't live without simultaneously talking and surfing. I would love a cheaper option like T-Mobile but the service is too choppy!

Data has slowed to a standstill in center city on 4G during business hours. Phone has become unusable. plus side, no longer worried about data limits.. I never get any anyway!

I have almost no reception in my house. It is spotty at best, and conversations sound underwater, going in and out of reception. Sometimes I walk around the block outside to make a call.

Sprint

I have been a LOYAL customer of Sprint for over 14 year and I ABSOLUTELY HATE their SERVICE! Love the price point but at this point can't deal with it any longer. I am filing for DIVORCE. I have been trying to send a text and make a call all morning. Phone will not work and I have an iPhone go figure. There service stinks. Not a true 4g network as they state. This is so crappy. Full Discussed beyond words. I will have a new service plan TODAY!

One min. Reception then ten feet away no reception. If in a spot with reception and don't move fifteen min. Then call drops. Net is very slow and at time fair. It just rediculous. I stuck with Sprint through the good times as well as the bad... .its been about ten years. But now its too much. Too much B.S. and too much money. I think I'm through.

Sprint

I bought my wife a Sprint phone with Wimax and 3g access. She works at uPenn (34th street) and we live at 48th street. She almost never gets internet access in either location OR elsewhere in the city. The voice service works well though.

I've been a Sprint customer for ten years and every month for the past year I've called and begged for a credit. Get your shit together. You suck.

Is anyone else out of service in cc Philly? I have been out of service for 10 days with Consumer Cellular with AARP program that I am told uses AT&T towers. First I am told that the 4 towers in the area are "severely degraded" and being fixed by last Saturday. They changed their story and sent me a new SIM card and phone is still not working Consumer Cellular is the worst.

Verizon

There is a serious deficiency in the amount of towers and bandwidth allocated by Verizon for users in the heart of center city Philly. The response and data speeds are so slow that on a number of occasions trying to use speedtest it just times out. Verizon is well aware (just talk to any of the people working at the Market St. store) of the lack of throughput that is available. Basically it comes down to too many users and not enough towers to accommodate the load.

Sprint sucks! I've been with Sprint for the past year and a half and I've been miserable with this terrible reception I get in my apartment. My calls are always dropping and I can NEVER access the internet. It's so frustrating that I'm paying for a service that's not even working. I can't wait until my contract is done because I'm definitely switching to a different company. Sprint, shame on you.

There are no Towers in the Society Hill Area of Philadelphia.. Not sure why would the city of 1.5 million people have gaps of service. Unacceptable!

Poor reception on the 1st floor of my home (100 yr old stone and brick home). 1-2 bars. Second fl reception much better,4 bars and HSPA+ data speeds (approx 3-4 mbps). I work in center city Philadelphia and have excellent coverage in all of center city east and west. Phone is a LG Google Nexus 4. I got very similar results with my previous phone an HTC One X.

Tmobile customer for 6 years. This is the worst location for service. Called multiple times and got the same response. "we are not planning to make any changes to your local network." the options given to me were to purchase a new device (even though I have a brand new galaxy s3 or find a new provider. These were the exact words of both the representative and the supervisor. My advice, Dont be fooled by there coverage maps.

Sprint is selling LTE phone to customers in Philly and they don't have LTE service here for another year or more. Tried to tell me the phone will work on 3G and please still pay for premium data. Adios Sprint.. Contract is up and I'm going with AT&T

I don't understand my problems with reception. The network just keeps timing out. I have 4 bars and it says 3G but sometimes I try to access my email or send a text and it just won't go through. Currenly I've been trying to send a once sentence email for the past hour and a half. That is not 3G. It just spins and nothing happens. I have an iPhone 5.
