Signal strength was good until about 3 months ago, then it dropped to almost nothing. Verizon ticket #657100 was open for a month and still Verizon could not explain the loss of signal in my area.
Patchy reception in my building, even on my balcony. The (600) minutes make up for it though. Decent on most of the streets around here. Works great on this part of the I-76. The Phone has excellent battery life and only needs charging every 2-3 days depending on usage.
Great signal and reception outside, can't get a signal at all inside Temple buildings. At home (Lansdowne) I can go four days without charging my phone, one day at work and the battery's gone, it's trying so hard all day to get a signal.
I had signal inside my house from when I switched to T-mobile in Feb until July. Now, nada, zero, zip. Got a postcard from them saying they added 39 more towers in the Phila. area. Called T-mobile to complain and was told they are realigning the new towers and that they would be completed in Sept. In the meantime, I suffer. Also, same thing where I work. Used to have signal in my office in zip 19120. Now, I have to go outside to the Eastern side of the building to get signal.
Very Poor Signal in this area. Most of my calls don't last but a few minutes and then get dropped (and this is while outside my house). If I am in my home, my phone will have no service for long periods of time. This is pretty sad considering I am on top of a hill overlooking the city of Philadelphia. I work in Plymouth Meeting, PA and the phone works excellent there.
Just even being around this area on the UPenn campus makes the reception suffer. I always have to use a buddy's cell phone around here, and inside big buildings. There is no reception deep inside large buildings. Voicemail messages are received hours to days later.
