my phone totally sucks in my house! if I walk outside 30 feet I get 2 or 3 bars. have alot of dropped calls. although driving thru the city the signal is not that bad.
Within my building (#6) there is not reception for ATT / Cingular and has not been for over 2 years. If I walk outside the building about 30 feet, I can pick up a weak signal. Verizon actually works within the building.
Great reception usually during the day, after 5 or 6 no reception, dropped calls, calls fail or I get someone else then the intended person I tried calling. Was told by T-Mobile my signal gets scattered and should turn my phone off and then on so that the closest tower will pick up my signal. Nope, I believe the problem is congestion, too many people using cells during the evening hours. I pretty fed up with this losey service and hope T-Mobile will reimburse my lack of use and be held responsible for any emergency that I can not make a call for. NOT HAPPY!
I have lived here for nearly three years without a problem. However for the past two weeks, getting my calls to go through is a chore. Also, almost every call I make gets dropped during some point during hte conversation. I am looking to change carriers asap.
Verizon just flat out sucks. Sucky phones and poor voice quality in most areas, but particularly in the house. I had Sprint, which was bad when I initially got it, but improved dramatically and I was satisfied. I was talked into switching into a family plan with Verizon with my sisters, because they said it would save me a lot of money and because "Verizon is the best." I do save SOME money, but I curse my cell phone and service everyday. The worst is that I'm stuck in the contract where my younger sister uses the majority of the minutes in addition. It's time to upgrade my phone, but I just don't what to do.
I get no reception in my apartment and basically have to step out every now and then find out if I've received a call or to make a call. I would not recommend T-Mobile to anyone.
