The signal at home is ok as far as calls are concerned. However, there is no 4g and most times, there is no 3g. If I travel over 3 miles away from home I lose all of my services. No calls, no 3g and no 4g. What am I paying for!!!! Now, I see that the rest of the carriers are no different. We, as customers, need to revolt! Why are we being charged so much taxes for something that doesn't work? All the fanfare commercials for something that doesn't work!

While I can get 4 bars consistently indoors, Verizon internet service is horrible regardless of wherever I go around center city. Yet, I continue to see buses with Verizon bragging about its XLTE service. It's a shame there isn't a better carrier in this area because if there was, I'd be gone in a heartbeat.

Using a Nexus 5 with truly unlimited 4G on T-Mobile. Outside of my house, 3 / 4 bars of LTE or 4 / 4 bars HSPA. Indoors, 1-2 bars of LTE or 3 / 4 HSPA. Poor speeds either way. LTE tops out at 15 Mbps, averages around 6.5 Mbps regardless of signal strength, drops below 1 Mbps during peak hours. HSPA tops out at around 12 Mbps, averages about 4 Mbps. Very disappointing. I can't understand how poor the LTE speeds are compared to HSPA. I used to get 40 Mbps+ on AT&T's LTE last year.

In my house, Never get more than 1 or 2 bars, lose or drop calls, I have to go outside to finish a conversation sometimes. I am definitely looking for a better carrier, unfortunately, the choices are few. Verizon, at&t, t mobile, the rest aren't even worth mentioning as the coverage only gets worse. I could understand it if I lived in a more rural area, but I live in NE Phila, I know that there are thousands of people Like me. The carriers bribe congressman to pass laws favorable to them, why can't we, who elect the congressman, through democratic means, let them know how displeased we are. The carriers' service is neither cheap nor reliable, yet we keep paying for it with our collective mouths shut! We complain about in person or on social media, yet nothing has ever changed. I understand that there are more important issues that divide us, such as socio-economic, gender, race which may be more pressing. But on this, we can all agree, unanimously, that cellphone carriers brag about their superior service, charge us outrage fees for said service, while not delivering and not being held to account for their shortcomings. After all, we need our phones to be able to communicate with one another. So I pose this question to all; haven't you ever been on an important call, whether it was business or personal, and in the middle of it, the line either went silent, or dropped completely? And you were both stationary?

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Airport | PHL Airport, Philadelphia, PA 19153 |

Decent voice reception. Terrible 4g data speeds. Can't even run speed tests on iPhone 5s or Mifi device. If emails (text only 5k in size) load it takes 10 minutes while the phone has 4 / 5 bars.

when I got Verizon I thought I was getting the best. Wrong again.everybody in my building T-Mobile AT&T Sprint worked like a charm.landlady tells me nothing everything works great here except for Verizon. Call Verizon. gave them the signal reading from my phone. Which sucks. Don't expect anything to be done. Use Verizon know that silly cell phone in 2000. cannot believe that Verizon went from the best to the worst

Very poor to no reception in many areas along Germantown Pike via T Mobile. Better reception after changing over to AT&T.

I have never had any problems with Sprint. The reception is great! Even tho, it's 3G it works fast and is reliable. Sprint customer service is great, going on 4 yrs now.

AT&T

Google Nexus At& t internet is good but I drop a lot of calls. I would compare the service to Sprint with voice calls but internet on At& t is definitely stronger. I'm sticking with AT& t because I can't live without simultaneously talking and surfing. I would love a cheaper option like T-Mobile but the service is too choppy!

Data has slowed to a standstill in center city on 4G during business hours. Phone has become unusable. plus side, no longer worried about data limits.. I never get any anyway!
