We have to go outside of our house to use our Nextel phone. The only other service provider, that we know of, that has been able to get a signal is a relatives Cingular service. They also have to go outside to use their phone. We live in a very mountainous rural area. The service is not ideal, but at least we can make contact when our landline goes out during a storm.
Very poor reception along Interstate 80 around Phillipsburg interchange, before and after. Almost a ten minute drive in this area without coverage, then it comes on briefly, then goes back out at Snow Shoe for about another 5 minutes. I've experienced many drop outs along I-80, but this is the biggest hole I've seen.
