You would think that Alltel would have its own towers in this large city, WRONG! The entire time I was there for homecoming, I did not realize that I was racking up ROAMING and LONG DISTANCE charges out the wa-zoo!

VERY frustrating

I originally had Cingular. AT&T had bought them out and I thought I would stay with them. Service has been fine until lately. I keep getting network error or network busy when trying to make a call. Plus, the signal seems to be getting weaker. It is very frustrating when all of a sudden, a company you have with for a few years starts providing crapy service.

I had to sit outside in order to have 1 single bar. We drove to Belfast and I actually got 3 bars in spotty locations.

Lose all calls; I do not believe this is the phone. I called to report several times and they tell me they have bad towers and switch me to another one and this still happens. I cannot wait till my contract is up; I am definitely changing carriers.

Mt. Washington reception is deplorable with AT&T. Dropped calls, no calls, no signal, no data happen repeatedly. My Phone has turned into a paperweight since I downloaded 4.0!

Been with AT&T since they were Cingular. I have close to perfect coverage / data speed indoors and out all over the city and outlying burbs. So many people around here use Verizon and are unhappy. Used to have Verizon myself and had no signal in our basement and garage. Love At&t, cheaper and good service.

The reception is horrible. The calls are dropped at least 50% of the time. In our house we cannot get a good signal, so we have to go out to the backyard. My relatives have Verizon and they can even go to the basement to have a conversation! I cannot wait for my contract to expire!

Low percentage of calls exceptable for one reason or another. Dropped, choppy / garbled, blasts of static. It is a rare call that is clear and trouble free.

I have great reception in downtown Pittsburgh, but I get static all the time. I have had all of the other carriers, and I think AT&T is better then Verizon, t-mobile, Sprint, and Cricket.

have been with Cingular / Att for 4 years. I don't recall my last dropped call, it's been many months. My Verizon friends always borrow my phone.

No reception in the house, I had a Samsung 426 and my wife has another LG phone, service is horrible. I drop calls all the time.

Indoor coverage poor to no reception. You might be able to make a call, but it will drop quickly. Outdoor coverage not much better. AT&T says that they are supposed to have a tower online at this intersection at the end of November 2007.
