Verizon
Verizon service is very spotty for both voice and texts. Tech service can offer no explanation. Usually have only 2 bars but not seeing any good AT&T reviews to make it worth switching!

Just switched from Sprint to T-Mobile's $50 pre-paid plan with a Prism. For the most part it great, I haven't run into any issues yet other than not really liking the handset, but it will grown on me in time. The data is relatively slow compared to Sprint. For me though, I need a telephone, not a computer, so it's fine. I occasionally Google a phone number... I don't do anythign on it that requires high speed. Calls and texts are working fine. I'm trying to start a business and that's where my money needs to go - not to phone company's. If you need to cut expenses, it's a good solution. Saving $39 / a month with this. If a call does happen to drop... guess what... I can call the person back!

Inside of my apartment, there are 3 'wtf spots' I've discovered, which drop me out of 4G, block any incoming calls, texts and emails from being received, though I just stay out of the spots that kill my phone. Easy. Driving around the city, which I do regularly, I don't ever drop a call, less a few spots, ie Warrington Ave. in Allentown drops everyone, or South 18'th St.from Mt. Oliver to Southside. I rarely notice my phone drop from the 4G LTE side down into anything lower. Driving through tunnels, Liberty, Wabash, Squirrel Hill, my calls are still hanging strong throughout.

Making a call indoors or in a car is always a dropped call. A cell tower in Union Dale Cemetery would definitely help the situation, hopefully someone from AT@T reads this.

I just went to T-MOBILE after being with Verizon for 4 years and I can truly see the difference in quality. I get NO RECEPTION anywhere. Not work school and in my home I get two bars on the first floor, second and third floor it's just done. I'm just writing this to inform others of what ur really getting with T-mobile.

The worst coverage ever. I have to connect to EDGE to get on the internet. Going to try AT&T. Praying it works out better.

AT&T
Data connection drops randomly, delayed when connecting. Frequently, calls are garbled or staticy for users on receiving end. Poor speeds. Web browsing is a joke.

very, very poor reception both inside and outside of my bldg. This phone is used as my house and mobile phone. I have to travel approx. 2-3 miles to get 2-3 bars. Unsatisfied for what I pay.

I drive all over the Pittsburgh area and have dropped calls occasionally, but really can't complain because I think every carrier does.

Verizon
Just moved to Mt. Lebanon and Verizon wireless signal is terrible! Cannot make or receive a call in my own house (we even got a cell phone booster, which does little). Went to Verizon Wireless store on Mt. Lebanon Blvd.and was told that reception is a problem esp in Mt. Lebanon area but generally throughout Pittsburgh because of the hills and valleys. Was told that Mt. Lebanon township will not put in a Verizon tower, which the store manager said would alleviate the problem, because of aesthetics. Ridiculous! I wouldn't mind seeing it if it means I can actually use the cell phone service I'm paying for! Wonder if others have written / called the township. Also, my HTC Incredible distorts my voice so it sounds like a computerized man - never had these issues in state where we moved from.

Verizon
Reception hasn't been great recently. There is no 3g service here, but I don't miss most calls or texts. It drops a call every once in a while, especially in Highland Park, and near Allegheny Cemetery. What I find funny is when we were in Hawaii service was perfect! If Verizon wanted better reception, (such as they have in Europe,) they could. Verizon simply doesn't feel it necessary, especially now they have the iPhone.

Verizon
Reception has been very weak for years and continues to cut in and out. Surely, they will eventually invest in better reception for this high volume location!

AT&T
I originally had Cingular. AT&T had bought them out and I thought I would stay with them. Service has been fine until lately. I keep getting network error or network busy when trying to make a call. Plus, the signal seems to be getting weaker. It is very frustrating when all of a sudden, a company you have with for a few years starts providing crapy service.

Just switched from Sprint to T-Mobile. After 1 day I already had a dropped call. The most bars I ever get in my house are 3, I usually have 1 or 0. I really hate Sprint customer service and their available plans but at least I had good reception almost all the time.

Lose all calls; I do not believe this is the phone. I called to report several times and they tell me they have bad towers and switch me to another one and this still happens. I cannot wait till my contract is up; I am definitely changing carriers.

Mt. Washington reception is deplorable with AT&T. Dropped calls, no calls, no signal, no data happen repeatedly. My Phone has turned into a paperweight since I downloaded 4.0!
