Sprint has the best coverage, but the worst customer service. I have been with Sprint since 1997, and have used my cell as home phone since 1998. Previously had AT&T and Verizon, and hated their coverage. In the early days the South Hills coverage on Cedar Blvd.and parts of Rt 51 was bad, these problems have long since disappeared. (My friends on AT&T and Verizon say they still have Cedar Blvd.problems.) I do a once a week conference call on Sprint, lasting usually 1 to 2 hours. Sometimes I'm on the move. In the area I NEVER have dropouts. Uniontown: Between the South Hills and Uniontown, on Rt. 51, there is one bad spot between Belle Vernon and Perryopolis. Otherwise SOLID. Wheeling: Between the South Hills and Wheeling, on I-79 and I-70, coverage is excellent. There used to be problems around the Claysville and the WV state line, but those are gone. I frequently have calls that start in Pittsburgh and end in Wheeling without a dropout. NO DOUBT that Sprint has the WORST customer service. I have almost switched numerous times due to Sprint's beyond-terrible (read evil) customer service. But if you can deal with it (intelligent plan selection, on-line assistance from sprintusers.com, etc.) Sprint has very solid coverage.

No reception in my house, or if I do get it, it drops calls all the time... or people can't hear me.

I have great reception in downtown Pittsburgh, but I get static all the time. I have had all of the other carriers, and I think AT&T is better then Verizon, t-mobile, Sprint, and Cricket.

The reception is poor to non-existent at my place along with numerous others in Mount Washington. And when I examine my statement, you can see that calls I have made are listed as originating from Greentree several miles away, dispite the towers in Mt Washington.

Bottom of the hill on forest glen (off Beechwood near Colfax School). We sometimes see a bar but seldom can call out. My son's iPhone (ATT GSM) actually worked here.
