I can't believe it... nothing! Even walking around University of Pittsburgh, still no reception.

Various places have 0 to 3 bars, but incoming calls rarely make it through although I do get voicemail notifications and then can make an outgoing call with no problem. Txts are delayed a few minutes on occasion but usually get through. I thought that being technically in the city would mean great cell reception, guess not!

Used to have good reception until end of July. Something changed. Reception is now poor, several Verizon phones tested. Opened trouble tickets with their help desk. They are clueless...

Drop calls and have to be in a certain spot to get or make calls.

No reception from Roth Carpet to Woodbridge Condominiums. I have to take alternate routes to continue my conversation in order to avoid that black hole of no coverage. The map on the Sprint site is rudely mistaken.

Low percentage of calls exceptable for one reason or another. Dropped, choppy / garbled, blasts of static. It is a rare call that is clear and trouble free.

Verizon reception in Greenfield and Squirrel Hill is terrible. Tried three different phones. Couldn't get reliable reception with any of them. Couldn't even make calls in my house. Huge dead spot at the top of the Greenfield Ave. Couldn't wait to get out of my contract and back to Tmobile. I still get irritated when I see those Verizon ads for "America's largest and most reliable network." False advertising!

Overall I get pretty good reception except for under large buildings. Or at just random places my connection goes down a lot but in my dads hospital in the hallways you need at&t.I get almost both EV and 1X full bars in my house so its pretty good

I live off of Grandview Ave in Mt Washington and I drop calls all over the place. It is unbelievable to me that I drop calls consistantly and I live on the top of a freaking MOUNTAIN in the middle of the city!

Never had a dropped call here. Matter of fact, cannot recall dropping a call to the East, West, or North (with a small exception for the interior of Fox Chapel). Don't believe it's good service because of my phone (antenna is completely housed). Some places in my home is slightly poorer reception (2-3 bars). Hope this helps!

Lousy quality of service, either calling or receiving. A shame the phone doesn't have a signal strength meter that reports to the user and Verizon when signal drops out. I'm an electrical engineer in private practice. I would never recommend the phone / provider.. to anyone. This is what comes of deregulation. Thanks much. HLB Engineering

You would think that Alltel would have its own towers in this large city, WRONG! The entire time I was there for homecoming, I did not realize that I was racking up ROAMING and LONG DISTANCE charges out the wa-zoo!
