Former notorious Verizon dead spot, now almost perfect reception. Love Verizon's east coast coverage!

Have to run outside my house to not drop a call

No reception in my house, or if I do get it, it drops calls all the time... or people can't hear me.

I have great reception in downtown Pittsburgh, but I get static all the time. I have had all of the other carriers, and I think AT&T is better then Verizon, t-mobile, Sprint, and Cricket.

The reception is poor to non-existent at my place along with numerous others in Mount Washington. And when I examine my statement, you can see that calls I have made are listed as originating from Greentree several miles away, dispite the towers in Mt Washington.

In my house, there is mostly no reception. Near living room window I seldomly get 1 bar.

Bottom of the hill on forest glen (off Beechwood near Colfax School). We sometimes see a bar but seldom can call out. My son's iPhone (ATT GSM) actually worked here.

If your lucky there is 1 bar in a one mile radius of this intersection. Have 3 phones on a family plan and they are all different makes. Calls are dropped everyday. T-Mobile tech support admits there is a coverage problem but won't do anything to resolve it.

Verizon has a strangle-hold in Shadyside (a good thing), with great coverage and reception. AT&T is also okay, but I prefer Verizon, and I always have 5 bars. Inside some buildings I range between 2-4 bars, though, depending on where I am in the building.

There are plenty of spots around here with no reception where calls are dropped / lost / won't complete. At the same time -- at least up here -- Verizon is still better than Sprint / ATT / Cricket / "others".

have been with Cingular / Att for 4 years. I don't recall my last dropped call, it's been many months. My Verizon friends always borrow my phone.

No reception in the house, I had a Samsung 426 and my wife has another LG phone, service is horrible. I drop calls all the time.

there is no service in this general area--If a phone is inadvertently left on overnight --the battery will almost be dead by the morning.

Indoor coverage poor to no reception. You might be able to make a call, but it will drop quickly. Outdoor coverage not much better. AT&T says that they are supposed to have a tower online at this intersection at the end of November 2007.

Text messages work fine, but incoming calls cut out within seconds, and outgoing calls rarely successfully dial. This happens for the surrounding couple blocks.

The call completes, but neither of us can here a word the other is saying.

Poor reception in parking lot and none in store. Wife has different model Samsung phone with same results. Poor reception on all of Yost Blvd. and on Ardmore blvd.

Only bad area I found in 15235 zip was universal rd area.
