Verizon
I've never got more than 3 bars at home and most of the time I only get two. Occasionally I lose my connection entirely. Calls drop all the time I can't take work calls the quality is so bad. I have to tell people to call a land line. This cost me a job once because of a bad phone interview. Before we had internet and phones hard wired up, our first night at this address we couldn't even call and order pizza or order online the reception was so bad.

I had an I phone 4 with Verizon. I only got 3 bars. Switched to Metro PCS with a LG Leon. Now I get 4 or 5 bars.

not to fond of Verizon or their charges, especially for the service you get.

Reception on street is about average but soon as I step in house... boom! Belmar Gardens / Lincoln is notorious for poor reception on any carrier.

Sprint is horrible. I have to talk inside the window seal (frame) of only one particular window to get service. I have no service anywhere else in my apartment or building. I have 6 full size windows. T-Mobile was worse. I had no coverage at all.

No incoming or outgoing calls for over 3 hours in Pittsburgh, PA. The weathe r is perfect. As it is my only phone, I am very frustrated because I have calls to make today, and I can't. I think I will switch my mobile provider / service.

So, I thought this website would be a good place to write a review for my carrier, which is Sprint. Wrote a really decent review that really showed how much I was enjoying being with Sprint and how much better their indoor coverage seemed to be compared to T-Mobile. The review stayed up on the website for about a week, and now I come back to it, and it is nowhere to be found. T-Mobile probably took down the review or something with all of their nonsense. Don't fall into their trap, Sprint has really improved, don't let other carriers or people tell you otherwise. You walk straight into the lobby of building and Sprint holds the connection, where as with T-Mobile you lose complete connection and have nothing. Sprint even gives you two weeks to test out their network if you bring your own phone.

Sprint used to suck in the Pittsburgh Metro Area. Had T-Mobile for the longest time, and thought that the indoor coverage was horrible just because of the building materials from the last century, but NO. Switched to Sprint, and have found to have more LTE coverage than T-Mobile in most parts of the outer city, and in it as well. Sprint's Spark LTE is fast and reliable, and I am extremely satisfied with their network. T-Mobile barely has any signal as soon as you enter a building, but with Sprint and any other carrier, you still hold a strong / decent signal. Props to Sprint for really improving their network, and giving customers the satisfaction they deserve. Thanks Sprint!

Had AT&T for seven years and never had a problem anywhere in Pittsburgh. I experienced all the carriers I think AT&T is best in Pittsburgh. It really depends where you are in the country. Different cities are different. Verizon could be better in a different city in vice versa with the others.

Reception is fine for calls and internet. Phone is an older Motorola Droid X, so only 3G, but I've never had any issues with Verizon's service in my area.
