Indoor reception is almost non existent. Outdoors signal still drops out in Sharpsburg, Aspinwall, and parts of Fox Chapel. Very poor coverage in general! New phone model did not help reception.

What the heck! The highest point in the city if Pittsburgh and there's no coverage. There's 5, count em... 5! cell towers there, yet the coverage drops like clockwork at that intersection. You get it back a block away, but it makes no sense. Then again, we're talking about a cell phone company. So, go figure.

Ever since AT&T took over cingular, our reception has gone down., No signal and constant dropping calls that finally connect This is on all three of our phones so I'm sure it is not the model

I get literally no reception in my home, I have to leave my house and walk down the street to the corner of Bartlett ST. and Serpentine DR. in order to get any reception. Absolutely awful, do not get this phone it is terrible, and Cingular is really lacking... "fewest dropped calls in the nation" apparently we live in different "nations"

I only get enough service for the call to come through. The second I touch my phone to answer it, I lose the call. I only get 1 bar of service in my bedroom and I lose the call in route. Verizon sucks. I miss T-Mobile.

Coverage in my house is isconsistent at best, I average 1 or 2 bars when there's any connection at all. What's very frustrating is that just 100 feet up the street I get a consistent 4 bars.

In this area reception is good,but when I go a mile or 2 to the east of this area I my can be dropped inseveral places,i hate Sprint customer services I have worst I have ever dealt with.

From 1 to 2 bars depending of where inside of house. Nearest antenna must be just over the crest of the hill? Need cell tower map with elevations in this hilly region. Does Google Earth have this capability?

The advertisements say the least dropped calls. Obviously they aren't referring to my area of Point Breeze. I had trouble with T-Mobile first and now Cingular. Almost every call over 10 minutes will drop at some point from the same spot. Battery is fully charged and it doesn't matter whether I'm inside or out. The other issue is with the salespeople themselves. It's great there are so many Cingular stores everywhere but the staff has one mission... to get you to extend your contract. They tried doing it to me when I had a phone break and bought another. When called on it the salesman had the nerve to enter a contract renewal effective 2 months later. Unawares, I stopped in to Cingular to find out when the contract was over only to be told that I just renewed. which I had not. Upon further investigation it was found that the contract was to begin the next day! luckily I came in before it took effect. The head office tried to say I signed up but I challenged them to produce anything to support that. They couldn't. The salesperson simply wanted to get the commission and put me in the computer as having done so. Some trick, huh? Be careful. It's a very competitive business and the salespeople will resort to a lot of tricks to get you to renew. That's where the money is for them.
