Did some camping in this area and was impressed to see that AT&T now has flawless coverage in Renovo. People with us with Verizon however continued to show no signal.

the best company to go with would be Verizon do to the fact that lock haven is 28 miles away and and that is were we all call to for bills and people we know so if you go with another carrier people will be upset but the thing that piss's us off more is the not letting people know when it will be working the light is blinking and no info is being told please let us know something

If you are on 144 there are a few spots that have decent reception for cell phones... one is after dehass road about two miles down the road(forest fire area) decent reception especially by the huge spray painted rock... from there... .only two spots down hicks road to yur right... .follow gravel road till you see fenced in area to left... at end of fence in area decent coverage... ..next is to take right after fenced in area to the right down to trails end... .another spot is at the end of penrose right across from new fenced area on your right... first pull of on your left and you have hit the best spot I have found... 4 bars..and we have used laptops to do some work down there... ... hope this helps
