Verizon ihas terrible coverage. Service comes and goes!

Signal drops quite frequently! We live in direct line-of-sight of the water towers where the (nodes / repeaters?) are mounted. Standing on our deck sometimes can't get signal and the towers are ΒΌ mile away.

I'm one very disappointed Nextel customer. (2 phones) We are coming up on one year and the service has progressively gotten worse. We live on a hill, have good visual of Fawn Grove, Stewartstown, Winterstown, etc.. We used to be able to converse anywhere in the house with average reception. Over the last 4 months (since April) the services has progressively gotten worse. We no longer can receive calls and 8 out of 10 attempts to make a call fail. Our dropped call rate has exceed the industry standard (5% of total calls) on one of our phones. Planning on terminating the contract ASAP. Verizon is the way to go.. I was a long time customer of Verizon prior to Nextel. Rumor is that Sprint and Nextel may not be able to "combine" networks.. some say the networks are not compatible. That's not good news.

alright service sometimes but it drops often and it pisses me off when you loose service in a spot you just had it
