	Verizon is the ONLY carrier to offer coverage on Rt 28 from Kittanning to New Bethlem. No other carrier has a tower. Verizon has 4 that provide complete coverage. One near Rt 422 and 28, one near the Cogo's on 28, one between Mahoning Furnace and Goheenville, and one in New Bethlehem, providing 4-5 bar coverage on this entire stretch of highway. Sprint, Nextel and T-Mobile have no towers. Cell 1 only has a tower in New Bethlehem. If you don't have Verizon, expect crappy coverage.

	Reception on State Route 28 from Kittanning to New Bethlehem is useless. Cellular One needs to put up coverage on this heavy traveled route. State Route 28 between these two areas may be somewhat rural, but this is a main route for both cars and trucks traveling from Pittsburgh to Interstate 80.
