always have had sprint... .for 7 years. just this past week almost no service in town of bristol. anyone know what is going on????

i cant understand why we have such disgusting service.. we live in an apartment building, the tallest on the block on the third floor and even on my balcony, I have ZERO reception.. id reallly like to know where I should go in bristol to get perfect reception.. seriously Sprint.. you should probably install a couple more towers in bristol ri before you lose your valuable customers due to junk reception.

These areas are Awful... Little to no coverage, Verizon just lost me! Carriers need to be held accountable letting people out of their contracts when they don't perform as advertised.

The service of Verizon is really really terrible in Bristol. It's unbelievable. I sometimes drive around to find good receptions in Bristol to use my cellphone. All of my friends using Verizon are complaining of the service. I really want Verizon to visit this website and read people's complaints!

Just when you think it couldn't possibly get any worse, Verizon manages to make it so. The cellular reception in these two towns is horrible (but not exclusively so, I just spend more time in this area). There are dead spots everywhere. I know that it's common for customer service reps to blame being near the water on poor signals, apparently they don't understand that line of sight signal travels better over water than over land. Idiots! How about putting in a tower closer than Fall River! Stay away from Verizon!

Sure it's an older phone but I've had it for 2 years now and it's always been terrible (despite the salesman telling me it was one of the best for reception). Verizon has given me every line from "You're charging the phone to often" to "You need to take it into a Verizon store to have the software checked" (which has NEVER been the problem). I have to stand very still on the street corner to make any calls. It's not "Can you hear me now?" It's "Can you hear me YET!?" I drop almost every call I make in the Bristol-Portsmouth area and beyond. Most of my friends have Verizon as well and they have the same problems with much newer, nicer phones. It has gotten considerably worse in the past 3 months. Luckily my contract expires next month and we are all moving to Cingular who have 3 towers within 5 miles of here. (and roll-over minutes) The only thing worse than Verizon cellular service is Verizon customer service! STAY AWAY!

Had Verizon and dropped every call and most calls went right into voicemail with out ringing... . Cingular gets much better service... no dropped calls in the past 2 weeks and no problem with calls going right to voicemail.
