Had great reception with two Motorola's V120c CDMA phone's for several years until June 2005. Now all along Rte 295, I drop calls, get failed calls or so much static I cannot hear or be heard. Both my wife's V120c and mine started acting up around the same time. I was advised to *228 to upgrade my flash memory and get access to codes for additional towers, this provided marginal improvement. The Verizon in-store tech checked out both phones in the store and said there was nothing wrong with them but showed only 2 bars in the store when his phone showed 4 bars. Opened two trouble tickets and field techs reported no problem at one and acknowleged low coverage at the other. Tech support recommended I get a phone with better sensitivity like Kyocera KX-1 or KX-2. Verizon will not let me keep my plan with new equipment and will not activate a non-GPS, (e911) phone. I may switch to Cingular.

No coverage near police station on Rt. 116.

Close to zero reception in many areas, and totaly dead on my cross streets.
