I've never had a problem with AT&T... until I came to Newport. I am highly considering switching services once my plan expires.

Verizon has amazing coverage throughout Newport and the entire U.S!

I work at the chanler at cliffwalk.. I do not get any reception at any point when I am inside the building..It sucks because I cannot get any calls or text messages for a full 8 hours when I am at work.. Stinks if someone is really trying to get a hold of me... .especially when I pay 105$ a month...

Switched from Verizon which had excellent coverage. Now getting nothing with AT&T. Service rep says I'm "registering with a partner tower." I submitted a "Network Quality Complaint" with customer service. I hope they'll investigate.

I switched from T-Mobile which has really great service on the island. AT&T drops calls everywhere and I get no service at my house.

full 5 bars in 95% of newport ri I had Sprint and Cingular I must say t mobile puts them to shame in this area

Very poor reception, you will frequently drop calls unless you find that perfect spot.

Fair to poor call quality, with occasional dropouts. Gets no more than 3 bars (out of 4) anywhere around here. Girlfriend has some weird Samsung flip-phone on AT&T's TDMA plan that gets even worse reception here.
