Terrible reception inside houses and poor reception outside. Riverside needs a tower. I can't believe that the coverage here in 2008 is as bad as it was in 2005.

Solid GSM coverage in this area

In most of Riverside and Barrington, the signal is so weak that just about every call is dropped. I have had Verizon and now Nextel. Both provide next to no coverage in these areas.

The reception is terrible. Nobody can hear me correctly, although luckily my calls never get dropped. The 3G is baloney, it goes back and forth between 3G and 1X and it doesn't make any difference on downloads / uploads. I can barely watch a video. The phones I have are awesome, a Droid 2 and a Droid 2 Global, just the service in my home area sucks.

Can you hear me now? NO! Verizon is a FRAUD on the touting of the network quality. T-Mobile is better but not by much. We need the Termination Fees made illegal in order to improve Network Service. Once people start dropping the carriers due to poor reception, they will FIX the Problems. But now, the ball is in their court since you get a big early term fee if you cancel the service. The Terrace, South of the Carrousel has very spotty and poor Reception. 1~2 bars depending on the weather. Also Verizon drops calls constantly. In the home it is room dependent. Not only at home but all over the region. Verizon is really not what they want you top believe. Of course, it seems that Verizon has little interest to add more antennas in this area. T-Mobile a little better than Verizon...
